from your family, friends, your home. In another country with no way to return.
Many things you are a custom to are not there with you. You are alone with a troup of many others just like you.
You are in this foreign place because you believe in something The USA has fought for
"FREEDOM"
Our Military Troops put there life on the line daily for all of us. Wouldn't be nice to recognize them, for the job they do for the USA?
How can you show your support?
Simple by sending a package, or a card of encouragement to them.
Most peoples first words are. I don't have the money. Well a note mailed cost less than $1.00. Seems pretty cheap if you ask me, considering they are willing to give up there lives for us.
A Care Package would cost way to much to send, is the next reply you will hear. Well actually it is not how much you send. It is to show you care. So you can send a small package or a large. They all are appreciated the same.
On a personal side, I have choosen to give up eating out for lunch one or two days a week. Yes I am brown bagging my lunch. That saves about $15.00 per week, or $60.00 a month.
In return I am sending a care package a couple times a month. To a group of soldiers whom are very appreciative of the packages. I know this is not much. But all I am hoping for is bringing a little cheer to one person in need.
